Does breastfeeding help you bond with your baby?

In this episode of Bumps, babies and Beyond, we meet Carly, who bottled fed her three children as she wanted to keep her breasts for herself, and Teika, who still breast feeds her 4-year-old.

Choosing whether to breastfeed or formula feed your baby is an important decision for mums to make.

The breast v bottle debate does not just concern the nutritional health of your child – but the emotional wellbeing of baby and parents too.

Carly, Teika and Myleene are joined by an expert on the panel, professional breastfeeding consultant Val Finigan.

She explains that the key thing for all mums, whether they bottle feed or breastfeed, is to feed their babies correctly as this will help develop the emotional part of your baby’s brain.
