Dad Jazzes Up Baby Daughter’s Eye Patch With A Different Art Work Each Day
Just in time for Father’s Day, this devoted dad is making wearing an eye patch way more fun for his one-year-old daughter
Geof Grubb’s one-year-old daughter Layla was born with a cataract in her left eye, leaving her sight impaired.
To hopefully avoid eye surgery and to encourage her vision to develop, Layla has to wear an eye patch for the next couple of years.
But to make the best of a bad situation her dad is making sure that she has the coolest eye patch ever, by customising it with a new design every single day.
His sketches include popular children’s characters such as Snoopy, the Cookie Monster and the dwarves from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves are absolutely brilliant – especially as Geof’s an engineer, not an artist by trade.
Geof’s designs went viral last year, after he shared them on Reddit. But they’re making a splash again currently as Geof’s set up the Instagram account @laylaspatches sharing his daily doodles with the world.
