Chloe Jade Green insists new shoe collection is comfortable, we are dubious

Philip Green's daughter Chloe launches her third shoe collection full of spikes, platforms and vertiginous heels

Chloe Green, Topshop heiress and shoe designer has launched her new collection for SS13. And she recommends you have moisturiser and baby powder to hand while wearing them.

At the tender age of just 22, this is the only daughter of fashion magnate Philip Green's third shoe collection. And as with her previous ranges, she's gone for plenty of sky-high designs with the addition of a few token flats, including a rather nice high-top sneaker.

Standing 5"3" and a fashion heiress, Chloe has been used to wearing vertiginous heels to conform to the industry's expectations.

She explained: "What do you do when you are a short 14-year-old and your friends all start growing taller and leaving you behind? You find the highest pair of heels your mother owns and start trying to walk in them."

"I spent a lot of my early teenage years practicing walking in my mum's shoes, and now she is one of my biggest fans... she wears my shoes more than I do."

She told the MailOnline that shoes could be as high as you like as long as they're comfortable, "Believe it or not we work hard to make even the highest of the CSG heels comfortable."

But she adds that her top tips for wearing super-high heels are to use moisturiser to get them on and baby powder on the inside to keep the comfy.

And if comfort's important to you, she also suggests opting for a platform (as seen throughout her collection). But, and this is her top tip, never take them off on a night out.

You've been warned.
