The South African actress, who bravely shaved off her long blonde locks for her role in Mad Max: Fury Road, revealed the bold move was liberating.

“I had two huge garbage bags full of hair products.”

The 37-year-old beauty said the bold move made such an impact on her life she recommends all women try it.

"I think every woman should do it,” she told red carpet host Ryan Seacrest.

"It's so freeing."

Charlize also showcased the flawless skin trend that has become a key look on red carpets of late, with nude lips, a touch of bronzer at her lips and defined brows.
