Caroline Flack: Are My Friends Ignoring Me Because Of Strictly?!

Caroline Flack has admitted that she feels like her friends are ignoring her as her Strictly Come Dancing schedule continues to intensify.

In an exclusive interview with Yahoo at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Of The Year awards, the 35-year-old, who topped the leader board last weekend with her Charleston, revealed that rehearsals have stepped up a gear recently.

She told us: “It’s really intense and full-on. This is the first time I’ve been out in twelve weeks. I feel like my friends are all ignoring me!”

One friend who hasn’t forsaken the Flack, however, is her former Xtra Factor co-host Olly Murs, who visited her during rehearsals this week.

“He came to help me train and watch my routine, it was really good,” Caroline said.

“He did some lifts and some moves, he was really into it – more into it than I am!”

As for any rivalries with her fellow contestants, Caroline insists that this year’s cast are one big happy family  - spending a lot of time with Pixie and Frankie backstage and getting up to all sorts of rock and roll antics.

“We’ve all become really good friends, we spend so much time just drinking tea and eating shortbread and chatting nonsense, she revealed.

“ I think this year we’re particularly close and we’re thinking, ‘is everyone else that close?”

Caroline also admitted that she is lucky to have partner Pasha, as he is a welcome opposite to herself.

She added: “You spend every day together so you have to form some sort of friendship or relationship. I’ve been really lucky, my partner is so laid-back – he’s the opposite of me! So as a team we get along really well. “
