Canada Has The Coolest UV Passports In The World

Norway has just introduced very stylish new passports with special images visible when you put the pages under a UV lamp - but Canada had them years ago

After Norway was lauded for its brand new and very stylish passport designs - complete with cool multicolour images that show up under UV lamps - it was up to the internet to remind everyone that actually Canada got there first. A few years ago in fact.

Reddit user Chachichachichicken brought them to light (pun intended) by posting before and after shots on imgur, the image sharing site, using a UV lamp. And they look awesome!

Actually we think they look even better than the Norway passport:

Norway's new passport will be launching hopefully in the next two years, while Canada has had its UV wonder since mid 2013. When will the EU get one, hey? Imagine a glowing Eifel Tower, The Thames lit up underneath the London Eye, the Coliseum in glorious technicolour and the Brandenburg Gate horses leaping across a starry spy.

Could travelling get any more fun?
