Nigella Lawson sports odd beach ‘burkini’ outfit
Domestic goddess Nigella Lawson, 51 is renowned for her confident persona on TV. On her cookery programmes she flirts with the camera and flaunts her voluptuous curves. But on a recent holiday, it seems the bodacious cook went a bit shy.
The mum-of-three was pictured this week frolicking around on Bondi beach, wearing a full-body cover up that looked similar to the Muslim ‘burkini’. Her head-to-toe covering looked even more bizarre next to her comedian friend Maria McErlane’s string bikini.

Nigella’s swimming attire made waves with onlookers as she opted for a black two-piece swimsuit and a baseball cap while enjoying some Australian sun.
Instead of applying layers of sunscreen, perhaps she decided this was the best way to protect her fair skin from burning?
Or maybe she was feeling the autumn chill? Though temperatures in the area were reported to be a mild 21 degrees, so what have you got to hide, Nigella?
The TV chef and author is currently down in Oz, filming a new series of Masterchef, where she will be making a guest appearance alongside Rick Stein and Heston Blumenthal.
We predict that there will be plenty of bikini-clad celeb mummies out on the beach this summer, but we’re not sure Nigella’s look will catch on?
