Woman Spends £18,000 To Turn Herself Into Kim Kardashian

A British woman plagued by bullies as a child has spent £18,000 to transform herself into her favourite reality star, Kim Kardashian.

Twenty-four-year-old Claire Leeson has had a breast augmentation, hair extensions and teeth whitening to look like the 33-year-old American beauty.

Her obsession with Kim began when she was 17 and some friends remarked that she bore more than a passing resemblance to the mother-of-one, leading her to start watching her reality show, ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.

Kim’s opulent lifestyle and flawless features inspired the teenager, who had been taunted at school for being ‘ugly’.

“I was so badly bullied to the point where I didn’t want to be alive anymore,” Claire admitted on This Morning.

“My life was hell. I was told every day that I was the ugliest thing alive.”

Claire, who despite having a job has gotten herself into £6,500 worth of debt in her pursuit of perfection, admits that her transformation is a form of escapism.

“When I get my Kimmy on I feel unstoppable and untouchable. I feel like no one can stop me.”

“I feel like I’m living in a fantasy but it’s real enough to me and it makes me feel real.”

Among other expenses, Claire has spent £5,000 on a boob job, £4,500 on hair extensions and £3,150 on shoes and clothes but she draws the line at bum implants.

Kim Kardashian’s most famous asset is undoubtedly her iconic derriere but instead of silicone implants Claire wears knickers with padding and is hoping to have fat injected in her bum from other parts of her body.

Despite the worries of her family, Claire has no regrets in her quest to become Mrs Kardashian West and believes that becoming Kim has given her the self-confidence she never had.

“Even thought it’s off the back of someone else, I have actually built enough confidence to love myself a little bit more.”
