Pink Slams Weight Critics: 'Don't Worry About Me, I'm Not Worrying About You'

Singer took to Twitter to respond to online trolls in the best way possible

It should come as no surprise to anyone that Pink is as fierce as they come.

The punky pop singer has built a career on powerful, female-centric anthems that just feel good to belt out at the top of your lungs after a particularly rough day.

So when a bunch of online trolls decided to comment on her weight this weekend, she dealt with them in pretty much the perfect way.

The three-time Grammy award winner became the subject of some particularly nasty jibes after attending a cancer fundraiser in Los Angeles on Saturday night wearing a black plunge neck dress with a full skirt and matching black accessories.

But the haters obviously didn't know who they were dealing with...

"I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight," she wrote in a lengthy Twitter post early this morning.

"You're referring to the pictures of me from last night's cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer.

"But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you. While I admit that that dress didn't photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact I felt beautiful. So, my good and concerned peoples, please don't worry about me. I'm not worried about me. And I'm not worried about you either:)...I am perfectly fine, perfectly happy, and my healthy voluptuous and crazy strong body is having some much deserved time off.

"Thanks for your concern. Love, cheesecake."

Pink went on to share a beautiful photograph of her and her husband of nine years Cary Hart at the event with the caption: "and my hubby says 'it's just more to love baby' (and then I smack his hand off my booty cause we're in a supermarket".

The 35-year-old is also mum to three-year-old Willow, who is yet another fan of her mum's current shape and size.

Sharing an adorable snap of her little girl helping her get ready before the night's events, Pink recalled just what Willow thinks of her figure.

Women all over Twitter have praised the singer for her response, sending her messages of support and pictures of their own squishy, happy tummies.

So that's Pink 1, internet trolls with nothing better to do - about a million.
