Kate Middleton Gets The Simpsons Treatment

The Duchess Of Cambridge is immortalised in all of her outfits with a Simpsons' twist, by artist aleXsandro Palombo

Kate Middleton's signature style is much copied around the world. But now she's achieved the height of popular culture appreciation - she's been immortalised in the style of the Simpsons.

In a hilarious set of cartoons, artist aleXsandro Palombo has reimagined the Duchess of Cambridge as an eight-fingered, yellow charater, ready to head straight to Springfield.

The series depicts a composit of (we reckon) every outfit the Duchess has worn to a public event, and she's joined by a similarly Simpsonified version of her grandma-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II in several pictures.

Palombo has depicted Kate in several of her most show-stopping outfits, including the white Roland Mouret gown she wore to the premiere of the film Mandela, and her yellow Jenny Packham shirt-dress.

We also se Kate Simpson wearing the beautiful lilac dress and hat she chose for the Easter Sunday service while on her tour of Australia and New Zealand with Princes William and George.

The artist Palombo titled the piece on his blog 'Welcome to Buckingham Palace', with a string of the pictures showing Royal Life as it might be with a Simpsons filter.

We have to admit the Queen has been depicted as quite the fashionista in the series too.

aleXandro Palombo has made something of a name for himself for several unusual cartoon sets, including one of famous Disney couples after domestic violence and another with Marge Simpson modelling famous dresses (which we loved!).

We can't wait to see what he comes up with next.
