Anna Mo Knits Big Blankets For Giants (Or Snuggly Humans)

No one's snuggly jumpers are better than your own grandmother's knitted masterpieces, but we reckon Anna Mo's creations come pretty close.

The Ukrainian based designer knits together super-sized woollen blankets and clothing pieces, using extra thick Australian Merino wool and giant needles.

From super snuggly blankets to bobble hats and chunky jumpers, Anna creates oversized versions of everyday knitted items with large stitch patterns.

Anna, whose mother taught her to knit when she was young, spends her days working on a computer as a designer, but says knitting helps her find the balance between "hands work" and "head work".

She explains: "I use the Italian words 'Grande Punto', which mean 'big stitch'. One stitch is 3 inches, it's absolutely incredible to work with. 

"It's impossible to be in a bad mood when you see, touch or feel this wool, it's quite emotional to work with."
