13 Things That People Are More Interested In Than Robin Thicke's New Album, Paula

The 37-year-old's desperate record sold just 530 copies this week in the UK. Oh dear.

Robin Thicke’s album dedicated to getting back his ex-wife Paula Patton is a massive flop, selling just 530 copies in the UK this week.

‘Paula’ is a compendium of love songs written to win back Thicke’s estranged wife and features titles like ‘Get Her Back’, ‘You’re My Fantasy’ and ‘Forever Love’.

The pair separated after a picture of Thicke getting close to an unnamed woman in a bar went viral, prompting the 37-year-old’s desperate attempt to get back in her good books with an album full of romantic lyrics like: “You know cigarettes are bad for you baby/So am I”.

Alas, Thicke’s plan backfired stupendously when his Q&A hashtag #AskThicke was taken over on Twitter by tens of thousands of users who took the time to point out what a slimy creep the singer was.

Add that to these abysmal album sales and it looks like the world has finally tired of the casual sexism and allusions to rape that were so championed by the ‘Blurred Lines’ singer.

In the spirit of kicking him while he’s down, here are 13 things that people were more interested in than Robin Thicke’s new album:
