The trick to pulling off a brown lipstick successfully is to find the right shade that works for you.

Lipsticks such as MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick (£15.50) and Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick in Mink (£7.49) are perfect for ladies with a light complexion as the pink undertone helps to bring warmth to your lipstick.

Whilst rich brown lipsticks such as Limecrime’s Velvetines in Salem (£13.00) and MAC Photo Lipstick (£15.50) work amazingly well on deeper skin tones.
