Sunglasses

Shades are a must when you spend all day dancing around in the sun! However, this year stay away from the typical aviator/ wayfarer styles. It’s all about the mirror lens! The retro colourful sunglasses were the latest to hit the catwalk and are perfect for creating a retro festival look. For added protection go for a polarized lens such as mine from Blueprint (£36).

Temp Tattoos

Yes temp tatts are back! But forget about the rubbish ones back in the 90s that stayed on for about a hour. The temp tatts of today are chic, metallic and durable! Celebs such as Rihanna and Beyonce are big fan’s of metallic temp tatts. Whether you just want a little motif on your wrist or go all out with a large statement piece a metallic temp tatt will make you shine through the crowd. You can buy your fave celeb style tatts at Bohemian Jewellery Tats (I’m wearing the Rihanna pack £16.95).

Faux Septum Ring

The latest piercing trend is hands down the septum ring and its taking over the fashion world fast! Thanks to the likes of FKA Twigs, Rihanna and numerous instagram posts this rebellious temp piercing is the perfect way show your dangerous side this summer. Love it or loathe it its the only face accessory you need this festival season ( I’m wearing the Sun Tribal Faux Septum Ring from Galisfly ($24).

Boots

Lets face it, wellington boots even when paired with our most carefully planned festival outfit always manage to kill those cool girl vibes we were hoping for.

Luckily wellies aren’t the only sensible shoes you can wear. For a more trendy look add a pair of sturdy ankle boots such as these Dr Martens (£105). They will still keep your feet nice and dry and safe from trampling.

If you prefer something a little softer and colourful why not try a pair of Palladium Boots (£52). They come is so many great pastel colours that would definitely brighten up your outfit!
