X Factor 2014: Cheryl And Mel B Go Head-To-Head In The First Live Show Fash-Off

She made her return to The X Factor for the first time in four years in a multi-million pound deal with Simon Cowell.

And Cheryl Fernandez-Versini absolutely killed it on the first of the live shows this weekend.

The stunning 31-year-old oozed sophistication in a red-hot plunging Zuhair Murad jumpsuit on last night’s results show.

Cheryl’s racy jumpsuit featured lace detail on the bust, mesh paneling to the waist and sleek trousers, worn with red patent pointed heels.

It’s a far cry from the in-your-face looks she donned for her stint on The X Factor USA, when she raised a few eyebrows in her purple trousers and orange top combo.

Meanwhile, former Spice Girl Mel B flashed her gym-honed figure in a Grecian-inspired VERSUS + Anthony Vaccarello asymmetric jersey maxi dress.

The 39-year-old mum-of-three kept things simple for the X Factor results, teaming the frock with strappy nude sandals.

Cheryl’s make-up artist Karin Darnell matched her make-up to her red jumpsuit, using the Limited Edition L’Oreal Color Riche Lipstick in Red Passion on her lips.

Her locks were swept into a loose, tousled ponytail by hair supremo Paul Percival, using Babyliss.

Mel B also went for glam red lips, although the rest of her make-up was kept relatively pared-back compared to Cheryl’s.
