White House Correspondents’ Dinner 2015: Michelle Obama Steals The Show In Custom Zac Posen

This was NOT the look we were expecting to see on the US First Lady at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner this weekend – but she absolutely stole the show.

Michelle Obama channelled her ‘80s disco diva in a silver sparkly bodycon dress and head-turning perm hairstyle at the annual event, attended by American journalists, politicians and celebrities.

The 51-year-old looked ready to throw some shapes on the dancefloor in her silver, custom-made Zac Posen dress, which she teamed with teardrop earrings.  

The First Lady Of The Unites States (FLOTUS) ditched her signature blown-out hairstyle and instead opted for tight ringlet curls, with berry lips completing her stunning look.

Barack Obama’s wife opted out of walking the red carpet for the #WHCD at the Washington Hilton hotel (not that she needs to – it’s her event after all!) but plenty of other A-listers posed for photographers before the dinner.

Leading the fash pack was John Legend’s gorgeous wife Chrissy Teigen, who oozed sex appeal in a sheer, embellished Zuhair Murad gown with racy thigh-high split.

The 29-year-old model killed it in her beautiful dress, striking the perfect balance between the risqué outfits she’s known for and the high-fashion pressure of a dinner arranged by the White House.

‘Orange Is The New Black’ star Laverne Cox also looked incredible in a plunging Ines Di Santo dress, with her blonde tresses styled into effortlessly loose waves.

Lucy Lui and Adriana Lima went for very similar styles for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, both opting for embellished black dresses with glossy red lips.

Actress Lucy Lui, wearing Naaem Khan, looked sensational in the figure-hugging gown, while Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima covered up in a Bibhu Mohapatra dress with sheer sleeves.

‘Glee’ star Naya Rivera concealed her baby bump in a full-length, white Tadashi Shoji dress while Channing Tatum’s wife looked exceptional in her Reem Acra dress.

Jenna styled her monochrome frock with on-trend matte pink lips and a slicked-back hairstyle, while Naya went for nude lips and a similar, chic hairstyle.
