If you're being whisked around the world on planes, walking for the industry's best designers AND expected to party at all the latest celebrity haunts, it's hardly surprising Cara Delevingne likes the odd cat nap.

But now the famous model's sleeping habits are at the centre of a right hoo-ha, after a recent Vogue interview made her snoozings the running theme of their latest interview with her.

And the 21-year-old doesn't like it one bit.

Face-of-the-moment Cara hit back at American journalist Plum Sykes in an explosive rant on social networking site Twitter last night, accusing her of lying and willing her to fail.

She also took the opportunity to lay into the fashion industry for its lack of support.

Here's how her tweets read:

The Vogue article which set her off, entitled Cara Delevingne: Everyone's Favorite Rebel Model In Sixties Mod', references Cara's sleeping habits throughout.

First the Burberry model turns up late for the interview, claiming “I always wake up ten minutes before I have to be anywhere" and then later, looking exhausted moaning "I'm just so tired".

Cara says she goes out less than most people her age.

The she describes being stood up after Cara falls asleep on the massage chair, to which Cara responds: “I’m so sorry!!! I fall asleep everywhere! Someone recently asked if they could publish a book of pictures of me sleeping, because there are so many.”

Later she focuses on her need to get a little shut-eye when speaking to artist Mat Collishaw at an LA party - he blames it on her late-night partying.

Although Cara was given the right to reply in the piece, explaining that her exhaustion is due to jet-lag and claiming she goes out very little, the furore the article created has led her to expand.

Point is Cara, we'd all rather sleep than work. But we *tend* to keep it together. Don't we?
