London Fashion Week AW15: The Style Trends To Be Ready For Next Season
From tangerine hues to geometric prints aplenty, brace yourself for the first look at this autumn/winter’s top fashion trends that have emerged from LFW AW15
Is there anything better than that first look at the trends we’ll all be wearing come autumn/winter? We think not.
And thankfully it looks like the fashions taking the UK by storm during the second half of this year won’t disappoint. In fact, we couldn’t have hoped for better.
Over the last three days at London Fashion Week AW15, we’ve seen numerous cuts, colours and combinations emerge, revealing exactly what the UK’s top designers want us all to be wearing next season.
From embellishments galore to the return of our favourite fabrics (fur and leather, need you ask) it’s been one joyous reveal after another.
Feast your eyes on what’s coming…
Leather
Spotted at David Koma, leather is set to return for another season. Thank goodness we don’t have to hang up that leather jacket for good yet…
Fur
The catwalks at the House Of Holland, Gareth Pugh and Holly Fulton show were filled with fur. And it came in all colours.
Glam-punk
Graffiti-coated dresses and juxtaposed fabrics covered the catwalk at the Sibling show, signaling that we could all be dressing a little like Debbie Harry next season…
80s
The J.W. Anderson label proved that it’s bringing the 80s back. Boasting a collection teaming with 80s shapes, cords and oversized printed jumpers, it’s clear that the decade of oversized shoulders is back with a bang.
Tangerine
This zesty shade made a big impact at the David Koma and Sibling shows. We reckon it will offset the monochrome shades in our autumn/winter wardrobes perfectly.
Cobalt
Beautifully teamed with tangerine at David Koma, this jewelled tone suits almost every skin tone – and will definitely be on our shopping list for autumn.
Geometric prints
If patterns are your thing, get ready to jump up and down with joy. Geometric prints littered the catwalks at Temperley London, Sibling and J.W. Anderson.
Embellishments
Embellishments aren’t saved for spring/summer – Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and Holly Fulton proved that there’s definitely a place for pretty detailing in our winter wardrobes, too. Totally fine by us…
