Kim Kardashian And Miranda Kerr Lead Stars Daring To Bare At CR Fashion Book Party

Selena Gomez and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also opted for plunging necklines – but did any of the stars actually have style?

We have nothing against celebrities flashing the flesh here and there.

But considering they were at a very fashionable party, couldn’t they have gone for something a little less… predictable?

Stars including Kim Kardashian, Miranda Kerr and Cara Delevingne left little to the imagination as they walked the red carpet at the CR Fashion Book Party in Paris last night.

The stylish bash – thrown to celebrate Carine Roitfeld’s fifth edition of her eponymous ‘CR Fashion Book’ – saw the cream of the crop of the fashion world descend upon the City of Lights as PFW came to an end.

But rather than showcasing next season’s styles – they are in Paris, after all, the home of Haute Couture – they opted for plunging necklines and see-through trousers.

*sigh*

Reality star Kim Kardashian, 33, led the stars daring to bare in head-to-toe Givenchy (she is BFFs with the brand’s Creative Director Riccardo Tisci, who designed her wedding dress).

We absolutely loved the embellished blazer, slicked-back locks and flawless make-up, but the peep-toe heels are uninteresting, the trousers are an odd fit and the top leaves much to be desired.

Try harder next time!

British models Cara Delevingne, 22, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 27, seemed to have taken inspiration from Beetlejuice with their outfits.

Cara’s see-through trousers gave us a fashion headache and while Rosie’s body did look AMAZING in the Balmain jumpsuit, we couldn’t help but stare at his cleavage.

Australian model, 31-year-old Miranda Kerr, also made an appearance at the bash – but we’re not entirely sold on her red carpet look.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel donned a lace, plunging Emilio Pucci dress, but the arms of the designer frock looked like they’d been cut up with scissors.

Singer Selena Gomez also failed to excite in her Louis Vuitton jumpsuit and very odd-looking shoes.

The 22-year-old former Disney star also appeared to have a make-up faux pas as her face looked very shiny indeed.

Model-of-the-moment Kendall Jenner, 18, fared better in a similar plunging jumpsuit – but her effortless styling made the look seem much more high-fashion than Selena’s.

Kendall’s model pal Gigi Hadid – the face and body of Tom Ford’s Velvet Orchid fragrance – also opted to flash the flesh in a boob-baring sequined mini-dress, narrowly avoiding a wardrobe malfunction in the process.

But it was the lesser-known stars that REALLY impressed us in the style stakes last night.

Sartorial darling Olivia Palermo nailed it in an ivory lace gown, with her choice of gold accessories taking the outfit away from wedding dress territory.

And stylist Rachel Zoe donned a sequin gold zebra print gown with glossy red nails, with her blonde locks parted to one side.

Those ladies, for us, are the real fashion stars of last night – NOT the models and actresses.
