Katy – real name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson – ditched her trademark in-your-face attire for a subtly sexy, custom Balenciaga tuxedo dress.
The plunging, knee-length frock flattered the 30-year-old’s hourglass frame, which she teamed with rather questionable (but nonetheless über high fashion) Giambattista Valli lace-up boots.

An individual bewelled ear cuff and silver rings completed Katy’s top-notch red carpet look at the premiere, which took place at LA’s Ace Hotel Downtown.

The ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer recently dyed her lilac locks a striking shade of jet black, which she jokingly revealed is because she’s grieving over the end of her Prismatic World Tour.
"It's black [because] I'm in mourning because this tour is almost finished,” she told E! News.
The star’s porcelain complexion was complemented with a matte purple lip shade and smokey eyes.
