Kate Middleton’s Shorter Hemlines Are The Work Of Her New Stylist, Tash!

27-year-old Natasha Archer is trying to encourage Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, to wear more fashion-forward and trend-led pieces

She’s had quite the style resurgence since returning to the public eye.

And now it’s been revealed that Kate Middleton’s more glamorous style and shorter hemlines are the work of a new stylist.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, has reportedly been turning to 27-year-old Kensington Palace PA, Natasha Archer– known as ‘Tash’ around the palace - for style advice.

Tash has been helping the pregnant Duchess shop for more fashion-forward and trend-led pieces as Catherine expects her second child with husband Prince William.

She certainly has unveiled a fresh new style after being stuck at home over the past few months, suffering from acute morning sickness, since her pregnancy announcement.

The 32-year-old returned to the spotlight in a baby blue Jenny Packham gown recently, wearing a shorter hemline than we’re used to seeing on the royal.

But there’s no doubt that Catherine is looking especially amazing in her second pregnancy – and it’s all down to Tash’s influence!

“Initially Kate was a reluctant fashion icon, but now she enjoys it. Tash helps source some of the clothes. She shops a lot for Kate online, and calls in hundreds of dresses for Kate to try on,” a source told Vanity Fair.

“She has persuaded Kate to take some more risks. The hemlines are shorter and Kate’s really pushing the boat out in the fashion stakes.”

We have to say, Kate’s new style direction couldn’t have come at a better time as her fashion choices were getting a bit same-y.

As much as we appreciated the Duchess of Cambridge choosing to recycle some of her outfits, her style was starting to get rather predictable – and those nude LK Bennett heels were getting seriously overworn.

We don't know a great deal about Tash, but picture evidence shows that she was working with the Duchess of Cambridge during the Royal Tour of Australia and New Zealand earlier this year.

The pair were spotted side-by-side at a rugby match alongside Prince William, and she was snapped handling one of Kate's dresses as she stepped off the plane.

We also know that's she's been a Personal Secretary at The Royal Household for the past seven years - although she's only been working with the Duchess since this year.

Let’s hope Tash continues to encourage Kate to take fashion risks with her maternity style.
