Golden Globes 2015: Emma Stone Follows Emma Watson’s Lead And Ditches Red Carpet Dress Code
The ‘Birdman’ actress might have missed out on award but she still impressed us in the style stakes wearing an unexpected Lanvin jumpsuit
We can always count on Emma Stone to have some fun on the red carpet.
The gorgeous US actress, 26, completely ditched the awards season fashion rule-book and stepped out in a jumpsuit for the Golden Globe Awards 2015.
Emma, whose long-term boyfriend Andrew Garfield was notably absent from proceedings, took a fashion risk in a monochrome Lanvin number.
And the gamble certainly paid off.
She might have missed out on an award for her role in ‘Birdman’, but the Arizona-born star wore one of our favourite looks of the night in her unpredictable outfit.
The top half of her jumpsuit featured intricate embellishment while the trousers were a nod to the androgynous trend we’ve seen in recent years.
A side-bow added intrigue to the look while a satin train kept the outfit interesting from behind.
With her auburn locks styled into glamorous waves and smokey eyes completing her beauty look, the Amazing Spider-Man actress simply oozed cool.
But she’s not the first star to ditch the dress code for the Golden Globes.
You may remember that former Harry Potter actress Emma Watson wore trousers to the awards ceremony last year.
The 24-year-old British actress donned a red Christian Dior dress with black trousers for the Golden Globes 2014 red carpet, which went down a storm with fashion critics.
The question is – which Emma rocked the trouser trend better?
