Amal Clooney Continues Alexander McQueen Love Affair On Family Dinner Night With Husband George

She looked flawless in custom Oscar de la Renta on her wedding day.

So it’s no surprise that acclaimed barrister Amal Clooney continues to look exceptional every time she steps out the door.

The 37-year-old human rights lawyer turned heads in an Alexander McQueen dress for a family meal with husband George Clooney and her parents in New York last night.

The newlyweds upped the style ante for the dinner at Caravaggio in the Upper East Side, with actor George throwing on a rather dapper navy blazer over his loose-fit jeans and desert boots.

But all eyes were on Beirut-born Amal as she flaunted her killer style in a £2485 floral jacquard-knit dress from the label, which is headed up by British fashion designer Sarah Burton.

The dress in question was from McQueen’s oriental-inspired SS15 collection and features a delicate drop hem, sheer inserts and contrasting red panels to the waist and sleeves.

She styled the designer fit-and-flare frock with strappy Giambattista Valli heels, glossy red lips and voluminous waves (as well as the best arm candy of all – George Clooney, of course).

It’s not the first time the Lebanese-British lawyer has worn McQueen in public after wearing a gown by the fashion house for a meal the night before her Venice wedding.

In September 2014, she was pictured wearing the most beautiful waterfall-hem dress, featuring the brand’s signature mirror-print.

Amal + McQueen = a match made in fashion heaven.
