Renee Zellweger Pictured At Miu Miu PFW Show And She Looks Blimmin' AWESOME!

Renee Zellweger had a tough time of it in October last year.

As she arrived on the red carpet for the Elle Women In Hollywood Awards, the critics worked themselves into a frenzy, trying to figure out whether she'd had plastic surgery or, if not, what was causing her to look markedly different.

Following the critics came a barrage of Renee-supporters, questioning a society whose beauty standards were so strict that an already gorgeous woman had felt the need to drastically alter her appearance in order to keep up with expectations of youth and line-free-foreheads in Hollywood.

Today, Renee made an appearance (a rarity since October) at Miu Miu's Paris Fashion Week AW15 show and we are happy to report that she looked totally awesome.

Wearing a lovely red peacoat and her hair in a cute little Hepburn-esque up-do on top of her head, she playfully sauntered in front of the waiting paparazzi.

Whipping off her sunglasses, she revealed a face of natural make-up, immediately recognisable as the Renee of Bridget Jones fame that we all know and love.

It's lovely to see her with a spring in her step, unafraid of her smile lines - they're what make her a bonafide human woman, after all.

Speculation From Last Year

Although many have condemned the overly critical evaluations of her October appearance, it was impossible not to notice something a little different about her.

Her eyes seemed wider, her face shiny-smooth and wrinkle-free and her trademark cherubic cheeks slimmed down.

Some exclaimed that she looked 'unrecognisable', and Renee herself, 45, agreed she did look different - thanks to changes to her lifestyle.

The 45-year-old actress told People magazine: "I’m glad folks think I look different! I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows.

But Dr Yannis Alexandrides, MD at 111 Harley St thinks Renee probably had a little more help then just a few healthier lifestyle changes. But it might not be quite as drastic as some have suggested.

“With different makeup and hair colour it’s be easy to put Renee's change in appearance down to cosmetics," he said.

"However, with tight, smooth skin at the age of 45, she may have undertaken non-surgical procedures to maintain a youthful look."

Whatever it was that caused Renee's appearance to change so drammatically, we're all very happy to see her looking like her loveable self.
