Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Flaunts New Hair, Aptly Named ‘The Cheryl’, At L’Oreal Event
The X Factor UK judge showed off her new cut and colour at The Brush Contest competition at the Mondrian Hotel in London
She’s the poster girl for beauty brand L’Oreal Paris, so when Cheryl Fernandez-Versini gets a new cut and colour, you know it’s a big deal.
In fact, Chezza’s hairdresser Paul Percival has trademarked* her new locks with a name, aptly named ‘The Cheryl’.
*Well, not quite…
The 31-year-old’s long-time hair stylist shared a snap on his Instagram page of Mrs Fernandez-Versini’s new hairstyle and quite frankly, we are LOVING it.
Following on from the dramatic ‘70s bob hairstyle that she showcased earlier this month, the look is refreshed with choppy layers, wispy ends and a brighter red hue.
Cheryl’s new hairstyle was debuted at the The Brush Contest UK, a competition for aspiring make-up artists to become the next make-up designer for L’Oreal Paris.
The glamorous Geordie’s make-up look for the event was rather understated, with her MUA Alex Babsky telling his Insta fans that he created a ‘softer brow to sit more comfortably with her new, redder short hair.’
Chezza teamed her pared-back beauty look with a ‘60s-inspired £575 Issa London dress with mint-green heels, for the competition at the Mondrian Hotel in the capital.
The X Factor star was a VIP judge at the L’Oreal event and was tasked with choosing the winner of the competition, along with beauty experts Val Garland, Alessandra Steinherr, Ruth Crilly and Sarah Sharp.
Cheryl later posed with the competition winner Emma Farrell, who impressed the judges with the doll-lash look she created on the model.
Emma will now head to the international final in Paris where she’ll meet VIP judge Eva Longoria.
But nothing beats meeting 'our Cheryl', right?!
