Beyonce’s Leaked Photos Cause A Stir Online – And Prove She’s Beautiful Without Photoshop

Let’s be honest, we all know that celebrity photos are edited – especially when they’re in high profile beauty campaigns when they HAVE to look flawless in order to sell products.

So is it really such a surprise that Beyonce’s pics are Photoshopped, too?

Fans on social media were outraged when over 200 photos of the superstar pre-Photoshopping were leaked on a fan site called The Beyonce World, depicting her ‘true’ face – and her complexion isn’t perfect.  

But even on a bad day, she still looks better than us.

The un-Photoshopped pics are part of Beyonce’s 2013 L’Oreal cosmetics campaign and show her bumpy skin under layers of make-up.

Some of the singer’s fans are slamming the pics - which were immediately taken down after being published - while others are claiming they aren’t real.

Beyonce hasn’t commented on the pics and a message was left on the site explaining why they were taken down. “Due to the disdain of the BeyHive, we have removed the photos,” it reads.

“We don’t want to cause any drama, nor do we wish to start fan wars. Some of things we have seen posted were just horrible, and we don’t want any part of it. We were just posting the photos to share the fact that our queen is naturally beautiful, at the same time she is just a regular woman.”

While there’s been a lot of cruel criticism in response to the pics, there’s also been a heartwarming amount of support. Plenty of fans called the singer “a natural beauty” and one person tweeted “She still looks better than me on most days!”

This isn’t the first time Beyonce’s been Photoshopped to look her best in photos. The star came under scrutiny last year for supposedly editing a picture of her legs on a luxury boat to make her thighs look slimmer.

But is it really so bad if celebrities edit photos of themselves? We hazard a guess that most people wouldn’t say no to having a professional edit all of their Instagram pics before uploading them. After all, who wouldn’t want to look flawless?
