Jennifer Aniston and that infamous head of hair is about to make a BIG impact in the hair care industry which should not come as a surprise. Remember the mid-90’s and ‘The Rachel’ ? Only one of history's all time most requested hairstyles in hair salons around the globe. And when our favourite Friend finally embraced the straightening irons, so did half the female population.
This makes her upcoming deal with haircare brand Living Proof, something of a big deal. The Massachusetts-based hair company has just signed the actress as a spokesperson and product creator. Finally! We might be able to buy that long-lasting shine (the kind that’s made her the envy of many a red-carpet regular) in a bottle. Let the queues begin…
And it turns out Jennifer is already a pro when it comes to succeeded in the beauty industry. She launched her own eponymous fragrance in 2010 which was quickly snapped up by fans. Even then Jen was determined to be heavily involved WWD reported ‘The way I was approached, given such involvement, I never felt like ‘Oh, gosh, I shouldn’t do this.’ It seems that the crowded market and influx of other celebrity collaborations didn't faze her either ‘If something is good,’ she insists, ‘it doesn’t matter is the market place is crowded.’ Very true, Jen. We're guessing then that Jennifer is taking a similar approcach to the huge hair care market but with Jennifer's hair and Living Proof's science, we're sure it'll be a m,atch made in hair heaven!
But it remains a mystery how the soon-to-be Mrs Justin Theroux has a minute to spare. She’ll be balancing this foray into hair care with her other acting commitments and there’s also the small matter of a wedding to organise…
