Audi Challenge and Veuve Cliquot Polo Parties: Spectator Fashion

Polo matches attract a particular sort of daytime chic.

With plenty of our fave celebs to be spotted, plus a whole host of interesting frocks, it would be criminal not to write a post about the main events.

Over here in the UK, on June 1, the annual Audi Polo Challenge took place at Coworth Park Club in Ascot - both Prince WIlliam AND Prince Harry were among the stick-and-ballers.

Meanwhile, across the pond, at the Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic event in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, a whole host of celebrities turned out in their posh frocks to enjoy the sunshine.

Olivia Munn

Top Marks to actress Olivia Munn.

She wowed us in her Lover dress, with it's cute pointy collar and lace panels, but it was her styling that really floated our boat.

The wooden clutch and gold-orange lip, teamed with her slightly avant-garde swipe earrings made this look brilliantly modern.

Dakota Johnson

Soon to be the plaything of a certain Christian Grey in the upcoming 50 Shades movie, the lovely Ms Johnson cut a sweet figure in her Diane von Furstenberg dress and straw boater hat.

Her Jimmy Choo flats top the look off perfectly.

Helen Mirren

Helen looked darling in her lace dress and coral court shoes, but it's her fruit-covered day coat that we're lusting after! If anyone find out where we can find one, let us know!

Julianne Moore

Julianne's Rosie Assoulin Fall 2014 jumpsuit is flawless.

It stands out in brilliant contrast to all the floatyy frocks on show this weekend.

The pop of colour in her lips is a great accent too.

Lupita Nyong'o

And she's done it again.

Rocking Alexander McQueen like she was born in it, Lupita is another favourite from the weekend.

Karen Elson

Choosing a nude with colour with such pale skin was a brave choice, but we think she pulled it off.

Eliza Doolittle and Michelle Rodriguez

Boogying on down with the princes at the after party, Eliza and Michelle went for very different styles.

We LOVE Eliza's metallic sandals, especially as we can see that pop of turquoise toenail.

We hope the princes appreciated it.
