Anne Hathaway shows off sleek post-punk blonde bob

After her striking punky up do and bleached hair at the Met Ball, Anne reveals a more classic beauty look at Tate Americas Foundation dinner

Anne Hathaway has embraced her new blonde hair colour, showing off a sleek version of the look she debuted at the Met Ball earlier this week.

The Oscar-winning actress went for a classic look at the Tate Americas Foundation dinner and after party in New York, wearing her hair in a short bob with a sleek side fringe sweeping across her forehead.

Anne, 30, went for a similar beauty look as at the previous event, where she relied on her hair and outfit to give a nod to the punk theme.

This time, she paired a dewy complexion, naturally rosy lips and defined, lined eyes and brows with the more classic pixie crop. She also recycled the subtle leaf-design stud earrings.

Choosing to stick to her face-framing dark eyebrows despite the change in hair colour, Anne also paired the look with an ethereal, white, Givenchy gown, similar to one sported by Cate Blanchett at the Hobbit premiere in London.

Anne chatted to other stars at the event, towering over diminutive 5"3 actress Sarah Jessica Parker, in gold, strappy sandals, the short hemline of the dress showing off her long legs.

SJP wore a purple patterned maxi-dress, somewhat less dramatic than her outfit at the Met ball (which included this bizarre is-that-intentional wardrobe malfunction).

Anne was also seen chatting to Alexa Chung, 30, who attended the event wearing an asymmetric, strapless, navy dress in an A-line shape. She also opted for her new fave beauty look - colour pop red lips - and a messy bun up-do.
