Amelia and Harry topped the list of baby names in 2011 © RexAmelia and Harry were the top baby names in 2011, knocking Olivia and Oliver off the top spots, according to new figures from the Office for National Statistics.

Amelia was up four places from 2010 to reach the number one spot, and Harry was up two places to top the boys’ list, too – perhaps inspired by our favourite prince?

Ava and Isabella were new entries in the Top 10 girls’ names at 9 and 10 respectively. They pushed Evie and Chloe out of the Top 10 this year.
