1. Use them to remove make-up. Perfect when you’re slightly sloshed and can’t get your head around your usual complex skincare regime.

2.  Get rid of hair dye stains. Forget slathering Vaseline on your forehead and ears before refreshing your colour – this will do the job just as well.

3.  Use as a flyaway hair tamer. Perfect for stowing in your handbag when you’re on a date and need to tame any frizz.

4.  Remove carpet stains. Use a wipe to blot up coffee spillage on your carpet – it absorbs both the liquid and the stain. Genius.

6.  Run out of loo roll? A baby wipe is your substitute. In fact, 56 per cent of women have admitted to using them for this purpose. But best not to flush them away – blockages and all that.

7. Use as a floor wipe. Simple and effective.

8.  Clean leather furniture. Because they contain moisture, they don’t dry out the leather.

9.  Spruce up white goods. Struggling to clean that pesky ring of dirt around the washing machine’s buttons? Enter, baby wipes.

10.  Clean your child’s plastic toys. Yep, they get coated in dirt/food/dribble, too.

12.  Freshen up when you’re on the go or have no access to showers. Perfect for when you’re at a festival or on a really long car journey.

13. Wipe anything and everything. If you’re a germaphobe, baby wipes are great for giving trolley handles, the highchair, the pram handle and fast-food restaurant tables a once over before using.

14. Clean your car. Keep a pack in your glove box for cleaning that split coffee you precariously left on the dashboard. Or to clean that bird poo on your windscreen that’s been there for days.

15. Wipe excess grease off frying pans before washing. It will save you time when you get round to doing the washing up later.

16. Make your shoes sparkle. The shoe-shining thing can be seriously time consuming, so give them a quick wipe instead.

17. Clean pen marks from walls and floors. All parents need to know how incredibly effective this is.

24.  Use as a scented drawer liner. Put a few drops of your favourite essential oil on one and leave it in your underwear drawer to make everything smell lovely.

25. Hate licking envelopes? Use a baby wipe to moisten the glue before sealing it shut instead. Genius.

26. Use as a desk wipe. Office cleaner non-existent or a bit lacking? Keep a pack at work to spruce up your desk when it needs it.
