First look: Romeo Beckham revealed as new star of Burberry's Spring Summer 2013 campaign

Victoria and David Beckham's son follows in his mother's fashion footsteps as he appears in British fashion brand's new campaign

Romeo Beckham is clearly following in his mother’s fashion footsteps as he’s been named the new star of Burberry’s Spring Summer 2013 campaign.

Victoria and David Beckham’s son is cute as a button in the British brand's new campaign, posing in a trademark Burberry mac alongside models Edie Campbell and Charlie France.

Romeo Beckham is the star of Burberry's spring summer 2013 campaignPosing in the camel-coloured rain mac over a sharply-tailored suit, Romeo pulls a cheeky grin as he poses for the camera - standing on one leg and posing with a Burberry checked umbrella in one hand.

The ten-year-old is seen modelling against a pillarbox-red backdrop, with models Charlie and Edie striking more serious poses to his right.

The new campaign - which was shot by acclaimed fashion photographer Mario Testino - was revealed on Burberry's Facebook page and appears to be highlighting Romeo's playful side.

In a statement released by the fashion house, Burberry said: “We are excited to reveal news of the Burberry Spring Summer 2013 campaign cast, featuring Romeo Beckham and Cara Delevingne, Edie Campbell, Charlotte Wiggins, Alex Dunstan, Charlie France and Max Rendell.”

With Edie and Charlie both pulling straight faces, Brooklyn Beckham's younger brother is every inch the naughty boy in the corner.

That or Romeo was having the time of his life on the shoot, earning his fashion credentials like his fashion designer mum.

Speaking about the shoot, creative director Christopher Bailey said: “He stole the show.”

The young star follows in the footsteps of a whole host of famous faces who've modelled for the brand, including Cara Delevingne, Eddie Redmayne and Emma Watson.
