Zoe Saldana suffers embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on Star Trek Into Darkness red carpet

Alice Eve, Benedict Cumberbatch and Zachary Quinto gave the actress a helping hand with her with Vionnet dress faux pas on the red-carpet

Zoe Saldana had all eyes on her at the Star Trek Into Darkness premiere in London’s Leicester Square last night.

The US actress suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she posed for photographers in her Vionett dress on the red carpet at the Empire cinema.

The Hollywood star, 34, had a major fashion faux pas as her monochrome dress almost blew up to reveal her dignity.

It seems the actress’ stylist didn’t take into account the typical windy British weather when choosing Zoe’s frock.

Luckily, her Star Trek Into Darkness co-stars were on-hand to help her out with her wardrobe slip-up.

However it took the efforts of Alice Eve, Benedict Cumberbatch and Zachary Quinto to keep her rising dress under control – as Chris Pine looked on helplessly.

Once Zoe’s dress looked in fine shape for photographers, the actress – who plays Nyota Uhura in the film – flashed a smile to the waiting crowd.

Her British co-star Alice Eve, 31, also wowed on the red-carpet for the Star Trek sequel.

The Charles Worthington Brand Ambassador showed off her svelte figure in a Ermanno Scervino Pre-Fall 2013 dress.

Alice styled her look with strappy heels, minimal accessories and a chic top-knot – who do you reckon looked better?
