Valentine’s Day in London just got a little more interesting after new stats about love in the capital were released today.

The top 10 areas where single people live, along with the best proposal spots and most romantic film set locations have all been revealed in a Valentine’s Day 2014 infographic.

If you’re thinking of popping the question to the love of your life on Friday, Primrose Hill, the Shard and the top of the London eye have all been voted the top places to propose.

But if you’re young, single and ready to mingle, it might be worth heading to South West London as Clapham tops the list as the area with the most single guys aged 25-34 – while Balham has the most single girls in the same age bracket, followed closely by Clapham.

The most romantic roads in London as well as the top filming locations for London-based rom-coms including Love Actually and Notting Hill have also been revealed in the infographic.
