If I was asked to define Victoria Beckham in a mere three words, I'd probably use smart, sharp and most probably polished, given that we're talking about style and not her general life situation.
In the case of the latter, I'd be tempted to just repeat LUCKY again and again, while mulling over thoughts of David and that new H&M underpants advert!
But yes, VB is nothing if not refined at all times, perfectly polished and super chic wherever she goes.
So why then, is she proposing we give groomed and glossy hair, much like her own, a miss this autumn?
HItting the runway at New York Fashion Week to showcase the new Victoria Beckham AW13/14 collection, models all worked a series of laid-back ponytails, each display varying degrees of wispy bits, greasy-looking fringes and mussed-up strands.
There was even that top-head fuzz that we, or at least I, work so hard to banish!

The look was created by hairstylist Guido Palau, using an arsenal of BaByliss hair tools including the super duper, so I'm told, PRO Volare Hairdryer (£100). So what was his reasoning?
"The clothes are so designed and very luxurious so the hair had to be fresh and modern, thought-about ease...the Victoria Beckham woman is sexy and sophisticated."
Eh? What's that now Guido? The static ball of top-head fuzz is sexy and sophisticated?
Think I'll wait and see if VB works it first...
