Top toy list makes Christmas 2013 the most affordable ever

Dream Toys expert panel give parents good news for Christmas shopping - with HALF of the top 50 toy list under £25

It's good news for budget-embattled parents this year as toy experts have predicted that many of the Christmas stocking-busters won't break the bank.

The Dream Toys panel has created its list of the top 50 toy predictions for 2013 - and half of them are under £25, making Christmas 2013 more affordable then ever.



The list comes out every year and is widely respected as one of the most accurate predictions of Santa's elves' workload.

Another trend we noticed from the list was that tech toys that teach creative skills will be big, including Moshi Monsters Poppet Secret Diary, Roar 'N React Boris Tyrannosaurus T. Rex and Read with me Scout. We also saw children's tablets, packed with educational apps ride high in the top 10.

A big trend is the growing appeal of branded toys related to celebrities, movies and shows. These included One Direction Dolls, the Monsters University Sulley mask and Peppa Pig's Theme Park Balloon Ride Playset.
