Zumba Fitness®—the largest dance-fitness company in the world and creator of the acclaimed Zumba dance-fitness party workout—is launching global charity campaign, The Great Calorie Drive™ in the UK with a fitness party at London’s iconic Pacha nightclub on Wednesday 24th April 2013.
The initiative's directive, “Don’t just burn calories, donate them,” encourages people to help fight one of the world’s greatest health risks: hunger.
From April to June 2013, Zumba is encouraging people to check in to classes via a free, downloadable smartphone app to donate the average amount of calories burned per class (750 calories for up to three classes) to the United Nations World Food Programme, which is the world’s largest humanitarian organisation.
Two lucky reader’s will win a pair of money-can’t-buy tickets to the official UK launch of the Zumba Great Calorie Drive™ at Pacha nightclub on Wednesday 24th April, alongside a celebrity guest list.
The evening will culminate in an hour long heart-pumping, calorie-torching Zumba fitness-party set to the tune of contagious world rhythms and hosted by world renowned Zumba Fitness presenters.
The two winners will also receive the official Zumba Great Calorie Drive racerback top and cargo pants for themselves and a friend to wear to the ultimate fitness party of the year.
