Mollie King shows ex boyfriend David Gandy what he's missing in a backless gown at the Glamour awards

Mollie King was the lady in red at the Glamour awards in London

The Saturdays' Mollie King celebrated her 26th birthday in style last night as she stole the show at the Glamour Women of the Year awards in a jaw-dropping backless dress.

Mollie, who accompanied her fellow Saturdays to the award ceremony, wore a high-necked, sheer panelled dress that was designed to shock and stun.

Good thing Mollie was looking so foxy as her ex, Dolce and Gabbana model David Gandy, was also at the awards in London's Berkeley Square.

The pair, who dated for 10 months in 2011-12, don't often bump into each other at events but David couldn't have helped but notice Mollie last night.

If we knew we were going to see our ex-boyfriend (who happens to be a world-famous supermodel), this is how we'd want to look!

Mollie's floor-sweeping red gown was topped off with a shimmering gold waist band, which added another pop of colour to the eye-catching ensemble.

Mollie wore her luscious blonde locks in tousled waves, teased to Brigitte Bardot perfection.

She completed the sultry look with kohl-lined eyes, dark brows and a candy pink lip.

The rest of The Saturdays (minus new mum Rochelle Humes) were also in attendance last night as the ladies picked up the Band of the Year award for the second time.

Una Healy wowed in a purple, strapless gown white Vanessa White opted for a short, sequin black number.

Pregnant Frankie Sandford debuted her new long locks on the red carpet as she showed off her blossoming baby bump in a fitted, black gown with a sheer skirt.

Frankie, who is expecting her first child with footballer fiancé Wayne Bridge, finished her look with a black and red clutch and a statement necklace.
