The Duchess of Cambridge reworks her Orla Kiely fashion hit for latest charity visit

Kate Middleton joins Prince William for trip to Only Connect charity in London and wows in her chic winter style

She was back to her pre-baby slim figure in next to no time.

And Kate Middleton looks as though she's got winter styling down to a tee too, as she stepped out today in a smart coat dress by Orla Kiely for an official outing with Prince William.

Smiling for the hordes of well-wishers gathered for a glimpse of them, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge braved the November chill for their visit to the Only Connect crime prevention charity in London.

Wrapped up warm against the cold climes, Kate was typically on chic form in Orla Kiely's beige and brown patterned coat dress, which featured oversized buttons down to her waist and on the sleeves.

Cut to just above her knee, she teamed the dress with chocolate-coloured tights and matching suede ankle boots with silver appliques.

Accessorising her look with a slim suede chocolate clutch, Kate kept the rest of her look to a minimum - letting the bold patterned coat dress do all the talking.

With her long brunette locks in her trademark blow-out style, Kate once again proved how style savvy she is - reworking a coat dress she was first spied wearing last year.

The wool dress, made of jacquard fabric and in one of Orla's signature prints, was first spotted on the Duchess of Cambridge in February 2012 on a visit to Oxford.

Naturally it sold out within minutes, as is now customary with the 'Kate effect.'

The Duke and Duchess, who left Prince George with babysitters for their trip to meet the staff and young people working on crime prevention, gathered quite a crowd this morning.

The engagement is one of Kate's few official outings, as she focuses on being a new parent to Prince George.
