Since Fifty Shades of Grey launched in April women everywhere have been seduced by the steely gaze of Christian Grey and the unassuming sex appeal of Anastasia Steele.
The book has inspired people to spice-up their sex lives...but not necessarily with their partners!
Extra-marital *affairs* dating website, IllicitEncounters.com, has seen a 33% increases in members since the erotic fiction trilogy hit the shelves.
200 new male members have joined the site in the last three months ALL with usernames based on variations of the book title or Christian Grey!
In a poll of their members, Illicit Encounters found that 32% admitted to reading the novel and 74% said they were interested in recreating some of the steamy sex scenes.
Rosie Freeman-Jones, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, told us:“There are more than a few real-life Christian Greys on our site – in fact the average guy on IE is statistically more successful, wealthy and well-educated than your typical British man. However, our ladies seem to be a bit more empowered that protagonist Ana, and more willing to ask for what they want – even in their actual profiles.
