During the Prime Minister’s Washington visit, Samantha Cameron and Michelle Obama have showcased a string of stunning outfits. But their hasn’t been a trans-Alantic style battle - instead the occasion has revealed their similar sartorial style.
First the duo were colour contrasting their outfits at a Olympic themed event, then ladies were both matching in light shades of blue and cream for the state welcoming ceremony. And to top off their matching style Samantha and Michelle both wore blue gowns to the White House state dinner.

The two women continued to champion designer labels from their respective countries with SamCam wearing a blue lace dress by London-based designer Alessandra Rich, which she cinched in with a black Emilia Wickstead belt she's worn previously.
Michelle Obama opted for an off-the-shoulder teal gown by Marchesa that allowed her to display a dazzling set of jewels from Tom Binns.
While fashion critics have been debating who won the fashion showdown, we think both women SamCam or MObama have looked equally impeccable over the past few days.
Both women have put their best fashion foot forward during the Prime Minister’s Washington visit.
Roksanda Ilincic, who has dressed both political wives, said: “Dressing Mrs. Obama and Samantha Cameron has been wonderful. I am honoured that each woman representing their countries have been such advocates in their respective roles.”
While David Cameron and Barack Obama have continued to build on their relationship, it seems their wives have struck up a bonafide bond too.
