Superga UK have just announced that British Superstar Rita Ora as the face of their Spring/Summer 2013 campaign. Rita has taken the reins from Alexa Chung, who due to TV commitments in the USA was unable to continue her role as ambassador for the label.
Alexa, who helped Superga create iconic images with her creative direction and styling, is apparently happy that the brand will continue with such a talented new signing. With her first three singles of 2012 all going straight to number one in the charts, Rita has also shaken up the fashion world with her street-luxe signature style. Rita will team up with Superga for an exclusive shoot featuring the brand’s new Spring/Summer 2013 collection; bringing a touch of her cool, raw style to the Italian brand’s coveted shoes.
Signed by Roc Nation / Columbia Records after being discovered by the legendary Jay-Z, Rita has gone on to take the music scene by storm and was the natural choice to front Superga’s next campaign, launching in March 2013 - we'll keep you posted on the pics as soon as we have them!
