      Some seriously sick minded people on here. I know elderly gents who adore children,their own or others. Some take on the job at Xmas for a small amount of payment for the sheer joy.I know that they once enjoyed the sight and sounds of children playing in a park. All taken away now by the nasty individuals who ARE actually pedos and those with not the intelligence to know the difference.

      Why has the word "Paedo" become such a cleched word? It's almost as if British society is programed to beleive that every man who politely smiles at a child is somehow a paedophile. Men are no longer allowed to show manners or be polite to children anymore because everyone else will condemn them as something they are not.

      I feel sorry for the Santas, they're clearly just elderly gents trying to supplement their income but having to endure a succession of screaming kiddies while grinning for the camera. You would need a sherry or two to get through it!

      My mum told me about one christmas when I was a child, Santa arriving at the playgroup christmas party.
      I had been unwell, (whooping cough,) and recently out of hospital.
      Apperently, when it was my turn to go get my gift, I was a bit clingy to dad, mum said I refused to leave dads side, and my bottom lip trembled, until Santa spoke.
      Santa said he didnt want to see any tears from his wee darlin...it was then I realised that when santa spoke, his voice sounded exactly like my grandad, (I was only around 18mths,) and since santa sounded like grandad,I was happier to go to him. I still have the wee teddy bear he gave me.

      all year round you tell the children "keep away from strangers" and then in december you hand them over to a man in disguise . its all a bit creepy ,no wonder some kids cry

        There would have to be some politically correct nut bringing paedophilia into this. Its like the BA flights where a man is not allowed to sit next to a child, thus making militant feminism and persecution of men an airline policy. My God, you soon wont be able to so much as look at a child without being put on the sex offenders register as a result. Try not to be taken in too much by the feminist ideology.

        Tufty, I'm not being politically correct, I'm being cautious. Are Santa's CRB checked before they have young children on their laps? People cannot work with children in schools/clubs without such checks, so why should grubby old men in red suits be any different?
