By Few women would rank menstruation in their top ten best things about being a woman, but tampon makers Lil-lets are glossing over that and looking at what we do enjoy about being the gender we were born.
Famous ladies Denise Van Outen and Paloma Faith took to the streets to ask women what they like most about being female.
Having close friends, being empowered and being a mum ranked top and many women polled said they loved getting glammed up for nights out, shopping and especially buying shoes, though clearly men can do these things too.
The pair have joined other celebs to auction some of their favourite items in aid of Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust. You can bid on Denise’s Burberry mac, worn during her starring role in Tell Me on a Sunday and Paloma is offering up a her favourite Mac lipstick and a Vivienne Westwood clutch.
