Omega-3 fatty acids

Omega-3 fatty acids are found in oily fish, walnuts, rapeseed, green, leafy vegetables and soya. They are needed for optimal brain functioning, healthy eyes and they reduce inflammation. It is recommended to consume approximately 1-2g of omega-3 fatty acids per day, which equates to 1-2 teaspoons of vegetable oil or one handful of walnuts.
