The Clothes Show Live is in its 24th year at the NEC in Birmingham. The event showcases the best of British design and gives businesses a chance to really interact with their audience. Here's a few tips on how to get the most out of the Clothes Show.
Listen to experts: All over the building, you will find constant talks, interviews, inspirational shows and business people who want you to listen. The Clothes Show has a very strong pay-it-forward mentality and supports the future of the fashion industry in Britain. Get some career advice, visit a fashion college, apply for a job on the openings wall, make your fashion dreams come true.
Grab a treatment: The one thing about the Clothes Show is that it can get pretty manic being on your feet all day. Take the opportunity to get a massage or a manicure and treat yourself in the middle of the day.
Snag a bargain: Fancy getting 70% your favourite fake tan or nail polish? How about a 12 month magazine subscription for £1. You'll find it all there, just plan ahead and don't make any impulse buys (unless it's really good!)
Check out live fashion: It's pretty unlikely that you'll be queuing up for the next Dior show in Paris, but that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy some FROW action with a few well-known fashion names thrown in for good measure.
And finally... avoid lunch at lunchtime: Have a big breakfast, bring your own food or eat early. You could be queuing for an hour if you aren't careful.
