How Millie Mackintosh Went From Made In Chelsea Star To Beauty Icon Working With Umberto Giannini and St Tropez

No longer just a reality star, Made in Chelsea's Mille Mackintosh has become a beauty icon. The Grazia Daily fave is a makeup artist, ambassador for St Tropez and the face of Umberto Giannini.

Photos released today show her with super-sexy waves created with Umberto Giannini’s Incredible Body range. Her hair is tousled and her eyes are smoky – she looks hot. It’s hard to believe that just three years ago the Quality Street heiress was an unknown.

Despite damaging her hair as a teenager, with a packet dye which turned it bright orange, Millie is beauty mad! The obsession became clear when she starred in a YouTube beauty tutorial with blogger and friend, Tanya Burr in August 2011. The two demonstrated how to get a summer glow. It was at the same time that she started her beauty blog (defs worth checking out).

Just a few weeks later, she came to Grazia to do work experience on our very own beauty desk. The star spent her time here organising our beauty cupboard and making cups of tea. She returned to the beauty cupboard that October for more beauty chat.

Millie starred in her first campaign with Umberto Giannini in March this year, stripping down to her underwear for a comic strip and showing off her incredible body as well as her great hair. A few weeks later her boyfriend Professor Green tweeted a pic of her hair looking amazing again in a super 60’s beehive.

The star became the ambassador for St Tropez in May. In the campaign her mega tan is set off with 50’s style white bikini, red lips and classic hair. She told Grazia that having a tan was her beauty secret: “a tan always helps my skin to look perfectly flawless.”
