Millie Mackintosh, 23, found fame on the e4 reality show Made in Chelsea, but despite being a new paparazzi fave, she’s not your average reality TV star. Instead, the trained make-up artist has stayed true to her first love - beauty. Celebrating the launch of her first eyelash line with Noveau Beauty (the same people behind the cult hit, HD Brows) Y! Lifestyle caught up with the star to find out which products she rates and new season trends to jump on. So if you can’t accessorize with an A list rapper, here’s what you can do instead…
What’s the big autumn/winter beauty trend we should be looking out for?
I really like dark lips, and really perfect nude skin and quite clean eyes. So I think I’ll be wearing a lot of lashes with lots of lipstick and then very natural, neutral make-up apart from that.

What colours will you wearing on your lips?
With reds, it completely depends. In the summer, I really like an orangey red but going into winter I like a slightly darker look.
I also think matte pink is a really nice day look – a really natural, matte pink, just slightly darker than your natural lip colour. If you just apply a bit of lipbalm and then take a [matte] lipstick and then just press it into the lips with your fingers you get more of a stain. It’s much more of a natural look.

What beauty products are you loving at the moment?
I really like the YSL Touche Eclat foundation, it’s a really perfect, flawless look which is nice when I’m filming.
I [also] use the By Terry Under Eye concealer in number 2, that’s one of my favourite products.Do you use mascara with your false lashes?
I do, I would apply a tiny bit of mascara as well. My lashes aren’t black naturally, they’re brown, so I’d put on a light layer of mascara, let that dry and then put the lashes on.

What mascara do you like?
I actually just use a 17 one, I think it’s called Falsifeye - that’s a good, cheap beauty buy.
Millie added on Twitter that she thinks the mascara is ‘amazing’ so we’ll certainly be stocking up on that!
Millie is currently promoting her debut eyelash range which is available to buy from her website.
