Madonna's personal trainer reveals the star is insecure about her thighs

MDNA star's trainer Nicole Winhoffer says Madge has body hang ups like everyone else

Madonna's skimpy stage outfits and the recent stir she caused by posing naked for her new fragrance prove she's got a body that defies her 54 years.

But the Queen of pop's personal trainer, Nicole Winhoffer, has revealed that she has body hang ups just like everyone else.

Speaking in a new interview, Nicole revealed that Madonna isn't body-confident when it comes to her thighs - as she thinks they're fat.

"She's so silly. We're all born with an area we're insecure about and she thinks it's her thighs so we spend a lot of time moulding and sculpting," Nicole told new! magazine.

"She works very hard on it."

Madonna has revealed in recent years that it takes an intense workout regime to get her into such good shape, with her hitting the gym five to six times a week.

And despite fitting in a tough fitness programme around being a full-time mother and performing on her gruelling MDNA tour, Nicole said the star is always full of energy when it comes to the gym.

"She has so much energy," she told the magazine.

"The days where I've had four clients before her, or if I've not had much sleep, and I step into a room with her, I always wake up.

"She's in the gym five or six days a week as well as being a full-time mother.

"So if I feel a bit low I just look to her and think, 'if she can do it, I have no excuse."

Former Broadway dancer Nicole, 28, said Madge's workout involves targeting five key areas of the body.

She added: "I look to tighten the back of the arms, to cinch the waist, to flatten the lower abdominals, to work on the inner and outer definition of the thighs and to raise the butt."
