    Lunge

    A toning and strengthening exercise that involves the movement of the legs and the hips. Lunges can help strengthen the core muscles as well as tone the thighs and buttocks. To lunge, place your hands on your hips and step forward with one leg, then lower your body to form a right angle with the lower and upper leg. Ensure to keep your torso straight by not leaning forward when you squat. Alternate legs repeatedly.
